tcr / Gordon ‘Flash’ Shedden will replace Rob Huff in Dubai

The three times BTCC champion will be at the wheel of the Golf GTi with the Leopard Racing WRT Team, alongside Jean-Karl Vernay in his attempt to conquer the TCR title.

The last round of the 2017 season is upon us: the clash between the final event of the TCR International and the WTCC race means Rob Huff is unfortunately unavailable for the Dubai event. Leopard Racing WRT Team have drafted in the experienced Gordon Shedden as a replacement.

Born in 1979 in Edinburgh, Shedden won the BTCC title for a second consecutive year in 2016. Having won in 2015 and 2016, Shedden was also the 2012 BTCC champion, joining John Cleland and Jim Clark as the only Scottish drivers to win the overall championship title.

‘Flash’, as he is known in the motorsports, will race number #73:
“I’m excited to join Leopard Racing and WRT where I will use all my experience to help Jean Karl secure the Championship. TCR International looks really competitive but I am looking forward to the challenge!”
