moto3 / Loi and Mir hunting confirmation in Silverstone

After narrowly missing the podium in the last race, the Belgian is determined to attack at the UK track. His teammate, the undisputed leader of the Moto3 class, appears in Silverstone to increase his advantage over his rivals.

After the brilliant test of strength two weeks ago on the Red Bull Ring, the Leopard Racing team duo arrives at the Silverstone circuit to contest the twelfth round of 2017. The English track is one of the most impressive and historic in the world of racing, 5.9 km long and divided between 8 curves to the left and 10 curves to the right.

Joan Mir presents himself more and more as a leader, continuing to live in this magical moment: with the triumph in Austria (where in 2016 he achieved his first victory) Palma de Mallorca’s talent scored a third consecutive win. This brings his total haul to seven victories in 11 races. At the moment the Spaniard has 64 points to play with over his rivals.

The Grand Prix of Great Britain could not arrive at a better time for his team-mate Livio Loi. The 20-year-old Belgian is revitalised by the excellent performance of Austria in which, in a race-long battle, he almost touched the podium, just + 0.008s shy. Here in England he can and must turn his season around and deliver the results his fans and team know he can!
