tcr / Rob Huff and Leopard Racing WRT together for the TCR International Series 2017

After their debut in the Benelux Trophy, the UK’s former WTCC Champion, will join the Leopard Racing WRT Team from the next round of Spa-Francorchamps and continuing throughout the 2017 season of the TCR International Series, alongside Frenchman Jean-Karl Vernay, current leader of the championship.

A new entry to the Leopard Racing WRT home: The team, led by Vincent Vosse and Miodrag Kotur, enriches its already illustrious stable of riders by announcing the new deal with Rob Huff, who had already started behind the steering wheel of the VW Golf GTI in the TCR Benelux held at Spa-Francorchamps on the weekend of 21-23 April.

The same Belgian track will be the stage that the British rider will face the tough challenge of the TCR International Series with Leopard Racing WRT throughout the 2017 season, with the exception of the Monza round. Born in Cambridge in 1979, Huff has been distinguished in the motorsport landscape since he was a youngster kart racing, always expressing the highest standards and reaching the top in the WTCC where he was awarded the World Championship in 2012.

The Spa-Francorchamps round of next weekend (4-6 May), the “home race” for Leopard, is the ideal location for the presentation and debut of the second VW Golf GTI of the WRT structure. Rob Huff, who will run with the number 3, will then share the box with Jean-Karl Vernay (currently 52 points in the lead) and will be a valuable asset to his teammate.

Leopard, WRT and all the sponsors want to give their warmest welcome to the British driver, sure to be a new protagonist of the Championship: Welcome “Huffy”!
