cev / Stunning Victory for Pagliani & the Leopard Junior Team

A great day for Manuel Pagliani and the Leopard Junior Team at the Estoril Circuit, where he scored his first victory in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship after starting from the pole and managing a difficult race impeccably.

Despite starting from pole, Manuel Pagliani has had to fight a large group of riders until the final stages of the race. The Leopard Junior Team rider managed to control the pace perfectly, assuming the necessary risks to be able to attack in the last laps. Four laps from the end, the Italian rider took control of the race, maintain it until the finish line and scoring his first victory with Leopard Racing.

With this victory, Manuel Pagliani leaves Portugal as the leader in the championship ahead of round two at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo on the weekend of April 29th. There he will try to defend his point advantage and begin the campaign necessary for the title.

The negative of the day for the team was the absence of Aaron Polanco, who will be operated due to the injuries sustained in a fall during second qualifying practice. The team sends all their support, wishing him a speedy recovery and waiting for his return to the circuit.

#96 Manuel Pagliani – 1°:
“I am very happy with today’s race, it was a very difficult and hard-fought victory, I am also very happy with the team and how it has worked all weekend long, it worked perfectly. I want to dedicate this victory to the whole team and above all to my teammate Aaron Polanco, who yesterday suffered a fall and today he could not be on track with me although I would have also fought for the victory “.
